Test Machine: AMD Sempron 2400+
Timer: AcuTimer v1.2

Compressed ENWIK8 to 47,723,097 bytes in 5.695 seconds.

Nania - the results are strange because 1.40 is faster in-memory than old level 3 (also faster disk-to-disk on my system, 2.5 sec vs. 3.8 sec, for my own testset).

How about making a ramdrive test for the fast compressors? OR compress cached file to NUL.
